Cycling in Kerala

Joan and I are booked on the trip and looking foraward to it. We are planning to stay on after, but hav'nt finalised anything yet. What other cycling trips have you done? This will be our fifth cycling trip having previously been on trips to Morroco, Jordon, Indo China and Mongolia, all were great.

We live in Cumbria, and enjoy the outdoors, our first trip with Exodus but have both cycled and walked in lots of locations. If you've already been perhaps you can tell us wether we would be ok to cycle on road bikes, we are taking our own bikes and prefer our lighter weight road versions to mountains bikes.

I would imagine you would be alright on your road bikes. We took our own bikes on the first Exodus trips we went on - to Morocco but found it too much hassle and have hired bikes on all the other trips. We do however always take our pedals and saddles. So far nobody else has brought their own bikes on any trip we have been on but about half the cyclists have brought pedals and saddles. We have not been able to get out much on our bikes so far this year but hope to get in a few miles before the trip. By the way, we live in Blindcrake so perhaps we could meet up before the trip.

 Hi Andy, you and Joan will have to come round, I believe Joan already knows Peter through work contact, why not next saturday or sunday evening? Interested to know why the 'take your own bikes' was such a hassel?? We've always taken our own when we cycle abroad, but not yet with Exodus.
