Hi Karen,

I'm on this trip too, but my notes have departure date as 13th March, or are you doing land only?

Graham

Hi Graham,I think that I -

Hi Graham,

I think that I selected the trip and date from a drop down list and the 14th was the only date available to choose in March when I posted the original message.

Having said that I am travelling land only.  I fly out of the UK on Friday 12th March and arrive in Bangalore about 8 am on the Saturday morning (so if anyone is arriving at about that time and wants to share a taxi to Mysore let me know as I have one booked!).

Do you know anyone else who has been on this trip?  It would be great to know of anything useful to take or not to bother with.   I've read previous reviews and I'm really looking forward to it.

Hi Karen,

I don't know anyone on this trip.  I've been with exodus on many trips and they used to provide a list of fellow travellers but now aren't alolowed to due to data protection rules so it's very much a wait and see game.  I'm looking forward to this trip as I have all the others.  I'll see you at the start.  Have a safe flight?  As a side question, are you doing land-only because you're moving on afterwards or did you find a better flight deal?

Hi,

I did get a slightly cheaper deal booking land only but the main reason for booking my own flights is because I live in Glasgow.  I'm flying via Dubai rather than Heathrow.  I've been on a few Exodus trips (mainly walking holidays) and found that this is the best option for me.

Are you a regular cyclist?  I've been trying to get out on my bike over the past few months but the snow and ice hasn't helped ;-)

Hi Karen,

most of my Exodus trips (7) have been cycling.  I went to Bolivia and Peru to hike the Inca Trail.  I try to get out on my bike at weekends but also enjoy walking so sometimes opt for that instead.  It's difficult to train for the heat, but a gentle ride does help for the longer days.  It's raining/snowing here again.
