Cycling Vietnam Departure 16th December 2012

This trip was fantastic, very active with lots of cycling and activities along the way. Vietnam is an incredibly beautiful and resourceful country with creative and resilient people. I have seen so much and learnt so much during this trip! The weather was very hot and humid initially, but it got chiller and nicer as we went north. I;ve learnt that malaria tablets are not essential, but suncream is. It helps if you can bring your own saddle as the hot and humid weather can cause problems when biking fairly long distances. Also, very important to take all necessary emergency medication with you and possibly a Vietnamese phrase guide as very few people understand English. Good luck!
