Hi Iain, I'm on that trip - just booked - very excited... Phew - good to know someone else going - had visions of just being me on my own! Wondering about what gear needed e.g. good hiking boots etc. Have you been to India before that time of year?

Hi Peeps,

I did a very similar trip a few years ago at the same time of year. I don't think you will need any specific gear, but comfortable shoes for wandering about. No real walking (other than sightseeing). The temperatures are quite pleasant, but you might want something to keep you a bit warmer by the time you get Kathmandu.
