Delhi to Kathmandu - departing 21st Jan

Hi Debbie, Thanks for replying.....its good to know there is someone else booked on the trip......I can't wait either, very excited about it. Not sure what happens if there are not enough people booked on the trip....do you know??? I haven't been on any other trips with Exodus have you?? Have you sorted out any jabs yet?? I know its a bit 20 questions from me but I am so excited about going......its been on my list of things to do for 20 years!  Speak to you soon. Angela

Haven't a clue what happens if they don't get enough people, and can't bear to think about it!  I too have wanted to go to India since I was a teenager, and it's been hell watching my son and daughter go off traveling seperately around the world, which included a month in India.  Decided the time had come to be totally selfish and indulge myself and include Nepal!

I've already had all my jabs and am just waiting for the trip to confirmed and then I'll arrange the Indian VIsa.  Apparently most people get the Nepalese visa as they cross the border, that is according to Exodus help line.   Roll on January eh!  Chat soon. Debbie

 

 

Hi Debbie, I don't think you are self indulgent......its our time now.....I too have waited until my kids are old enough to look after themselves......which will remain to be seen on my return..... and am finally doing something just for me!! I rang Exodus to check what happens if there are not enough people booked on the trip to make it viable......apparantly at the moment there is just you and me booked on there so fingers crossed more people will commit themselves. The guy said they have still run trips with as few as 4 or 5 people but if it has to be cancelled they will let us know just prior to paying the final balance and we can either get a full refund and £50 compensation or rebook another trip with (I think he said) 10% off. If cancelled I will be booking for the 18th Feb departure date but lets hope it doesnt come to that!! Have been looking into obtaining visas and think I will try to do it myself via Indian Embassy in Manchester.....how are you getting yours? Can't wait for Christmas to be out of the way........wishing my life away!!!! Speak to you soon, Angela 

 

JUst had confirmation that the trip has been cancelled !  I've decided to go on the Deli to Mombai trip which leaves on the 21st January and returns on the 11th Febraury.  Unfortunately, I'm unable to change my annual leave dates at work and can't carry them over past march.  The Deli to Mombai trip is 22 days for the same price as the Deli to Katmandu plus an addition 10 percent off.  I'll just have to go to Nepal next time!  Have you already changed your booking?  If so I hope you have a wonderful time and maybe we'll meet up on future travels.  Would be good to keep in touch and hear all about your trip. All the best Debbie.
