DISCOVER BURMA

This is my ninth Exodus trip, starting after retirement in 2004. Have we met on a trip before? David Pritchard--your picture might be familiar. I am called by my second name, Jane. I have done Rumania and Ethiopia. Much looking forward to Burma and have been reading up in advance. I fly from Heathrow on 21 April.

Have we met before ??   Not sure, I have not been to Romania or Ethiopia but I am booked for both ,

I have been on about 22 Exodus trips,  just back from West Africa, and soon off to Haiti (not exodus)

Burma should be interesting , but I dont seem to find the time to read up on anything.

Hi I'm on this trip, I leave Heathrow on 21st too. Did Ethiopia 18ish months ago with Exodus but can't remember a Jane. Found the Lonely Planet guide last weekend in Heffers it's now out. I won't have time to read it though, too busy at work! Guess (as always) I'll read on the flight over. Looking forward to going and got my visa easily. My name is Alison

 Guide books, if I remember to get one I find I dont have time to read it, so I rarely bother now, although I have just had a look on Amazon, and there is no shortage of guide books there.    

Glad to hear it was easy to get your visa, I cannot apply for mine until 03-Apr,  so good to know its not a problem.  I will start to think more about this trip come April, after my next trip.

Hi All,

Booked the trip back in Feb.  recently booked taxi and coach,   

05-Apr sent off for visa ( first opportunity )

( oh bother easter is in the way )

10-Apr visa application arrived with travcour

confirmed enough time, currently taking 5 days 

11-Apr telephone call from travcour, Enbassy is Closed until 20th

Welcome to Burma !! ( no warning was given about closure ).

So unable to get visa, unable to join the trip.

So I hope everyone else makes it ok, have a good trip.
