Essential China?

Hi Have just returned from China (not on this trip). Looking at this trip it seems to cover an awful lot in a short space, including the distances travelled. I was on a trip of 2 and half weeks and only covered some of this (the northern bit) taking longer at the major attractions. I think that you'd want longer than the itinerary seems to allow and wonder if perhaps you'd be better off on a longer trip that doesn't cover so much in such a short time. China is huge, frantic, very very busy and an experience! Jane

We're going on this trip leaving on 14 October but we're extending it with extra days in Hong Kong where we have family. I can let you know how frantic it is in November - it does seem to cover a lot of ground

We've been looking into going to China and saw the trip, Essential China (code ACW). It looks like exactly the kind of trip we were looking for however, it doesn't have any reviews. Can anyone who has been on this trip or even just visited China shed some light?
