Yes spot on.   when I booked they said they was a parent/teenager, group  3, a couple and the rest were solo travellers. All ages 20, 30,40 50

I am booked and traveling with a friend of mine.  I am coming from Chicago and she is coming from NYC.  Looking forward to it but a little stressed about making sure I am properly packed for the trip.  Any advice?

I'm taking plenty of layers as Lima is currently about 20C and raining, whereas Cusco this week is 20C during the day and 0C at night.

Jen I am worried to.  Jason, I think you are right about layers.  I didn't think I was going to be  that wet but we may get showers. I have read review about the weather , but I am non the wiser about what to take .

They told us we probably would not need a heavy jacket like it says in the trip notes.  Are either of you going to bring one?

I was going to take a  vest , termal long sleeve top and fleece and a jacket .  I was going to take a pashmina ( so I can use as a scarf ). I am going to take 1 pair of thick socks.

I went on the BBC website to look at the weather .  It will be cold in the mountains ( lake Titicca) we are staying at a homestead which could be cold, and we have a few early starts which could be chilly as well   and cold in the evening. I think most of the time we will be on a train or coach .  

Really looking forward to going now.

So am I, even though it does look like I'm going to have to get to the airport the night before as my entire town and most roads out seem to be closed for some Olympic bike race.
