Via Ferrata
I'm also on this trip. Now seems just around the corner! I'm new to this - anyone done a via ferrata before? Wondering how hard it's going to be!
And hello to other group members too. Look forward to meeting you all. We're newcomers to the Via Ferata thing too - looks exciting. Does climbing ladders count as practice?

Andrea, Yes, it would be good to meet up before the flight. I haven't flown from East Midlands so can't suggest anywhere to meet up. Have you any suggestions? I won't be sporting a red rose in my lapel but i should be carrying a black & grey Karrimor rucksack.

Hi Keith, I haven't been to the airport before but have checked out their website & there's a bar we could meet in the departure lounge after security called the 3 Cities. I'll be carrying a red Berghaus rucksack. See you there!
Anyone else out there booked on this trip? Two of us, mum and daughter...me worried whether I'm fit enough...she worried about scary heights. Really looking forward to it though.
