Firs Timer.... Anyone else going on the Nile Cruise?!

Chris here, with Clare. First time with Exodus (a late booking after a Thai trip was cancelled just last week)

One bit of advice - go to BA web site http://www.britishairways.com and go to 'Manage my Booking' Enter booking Ref & surname & go from there - must do this a few days before (better now) to log API. Did not see this in the documentation but I was skim-reading!

24 hours before flight, login again & check-in online. Will save time at Heathrow. Not sure which terminal (not found it yet)

Thank you for the advice, i'll do that. I've never even been to Heathrow... always Gatwick, so thats a great start for someone who's never managed an airport by herself! I'm sure it will all be fine....!?!

 I think it is terminal 5.... the number in brackets with the flight details. I'm told this is the new terminal but I wouldnt know for sure.

Ah yes, 5 it is. Not seen Heathrow in a few years and T5 was being built back then. I am told it is ratehr good. And just about everyone I saw at a party on Saturday spoke well of Egypt too.

Thanks for the airport advice.... all sorted now! Phew! Since i'll be checking in online, does that mean we can bag drop at anytime or do we have to wait for the check-in times to open?

I cant recall going to Heathrow at all so should be interesting! I've been to Gatwick everytime so far... not on purpose, just luck of the draw!

I've done the beach holiday in Sharm earlier this year and loved it so really looking forward to seeing the rest of the country!

HI Rach how are you? I just came from my trip to the Nile cruise, you don't have to worry about anything, the staff working on this trip are very professional and there will be there to help you. Nile cruise is the best trip to discover Egypt.

We were 14 people on the group and 4 of them were travelling solo, we were like small family. Luggage type i took a big one and i had not problem.. even on the sleeping train you can have it inside the cabin and the cabins on the Nile cruise are very spacious.
