Flooding in Thailand

So am I. When I told Exodus I wanted to postpone the holiday till next February I was told curtly that cancellation fees applied. Bottled water has vanished from the shops in Bangkok, people are being told to boil water before drinking, crocodiles have escaped from a farm outside the city and the government says it could be six weeks before the waters drain away. The government has set aside $10.6b. to rebuild the country. Exodus say they may cancel the sleeper train and use a coach! All we need is a life jacket, a rifle, pillow, water and toilet rolls and we're ready. 

I am scheduled to join an earlier trip, departing Bangkok Nov. 5!  Does anyone have update from Exodus on that departure?

No reply at all.   I think they are trying to get us to cancel, claiming off our own travel insurance and that way they won't have to pay us out or re-schedule !!

I returned from Thailand today.  I was on the Thai Indo China explorer which finishes in Bangkok.  We flew into Bangkok on Thursday and were taken to Pattaya instead.  There is currently no river transport in the City and the main sites such as the royal Palace while not flooded are near to flooded areas.  

Pattaya is terrible.  Full of Sex Touristsand Russians.  Whilst I accept there wasn't much option for Exodus with our trip I would hope they can come up with better alternatives for your trip.  One other point is that the shops have very little bottled water.  Even in Pattaya (3 hours from Bangkok) the shelfs were empty.
