Trip - FMN - LAND OF THE PHARAOHS - EGYPT FAMILY HOLIDAY, Departure Date - Sunday 20th December 2009
Hi. 3rd time lucky!! Gill, Mike, James and Harriet would like to hear from anyone going on the family trip to Egypt over Christmas. We arrive early hours of 18th December via AMS.

Doh!I just twigged - AMS is not the airport code - it's the MARRAKECH & THE SAHARA trip!You are doing these back to back?

Wish we were doing a back to back, but no, AMS is Amsterdam. The alternative was to travel down to London and stay overnight at each end of the trip. Who is in your party? Can't believe it is almost December. Must think about packing soon.... Glad we don't have to think about malaria tablets for this trip. Have you been on similar trips before?

No, It's our first time - You? In our party it's Me, the Wife and teenage daughter. We have to travel a fair way to get to heathrow - and we are going to stay in a hotel before and after - mostly because of the train times.
There are local flights to heathrow but they were expensive compared to the train.
I've been more concerned about what and how much currency to take than malaria - but we have had the pleasure of several injections! - not long now....!

It is out 2nd trip away over Christmas. Last year we went to India. This is our first time with Exodus (Dragoman family holidays to Peru, Namibia/Botswana, India & GAP to Brazil]. Have you heard from anyone else? I'm wondering how much to take too. Tips = lots of ££, as do excursions - especially when times'd by 3 or 4 people. James is 18 and Harriet 16 if I haven't already mentioned that. Have a safe travel over there and look forward to meeting you on the 20th.
