It varies, however If you are flying from Heathrow then you are likely to meet Exodus travellers before/after the check in if you are on the group flight. Recommend that you start a thread in the departure lounge so that you can arrange to meet your fellow travellers at the airport.

You're in for a treat here. As it's your first trip, take the group flight, home in on the exodus kit bags at check in (there'll be plenty) and say hi. Job done. You'll be picked up at destination by the leader and transferred.
My own choice is to take my own flights a few days early and meet up with my jet lagged group at the hotel.......mind you I pitched up with the wrong group last time in Katmandu. Got a free drink before they found out. ;-/

Sorry for the late reply...that sounds great, nice imformative responses :) I haven't decided when/where to go yet, depends when I get the time...I was thinking possibly the Historic Andalucia trip in Spain, although I need to have a day of looking and picking out good trip ideas that I fancy! I'll make a thread when I decide and see who else is going, that'll ease my airport virginity anxiety haha.

Looks like you haven't decided exactly where to go yet Neil! Don't worry about the Solo thing, all Exodus trips attract Solo Travellers and make them welcome. (In Fact most Exodus clients choose to travel Solo). This means you have more trips to choose from!!
Whilst travelling you can play at guessing whose on your trip at the departure airport and on the plane. When you arrive and have picked up your baggage, don't worry as your Exodus Leader will be waiting in ambush as you come out of the baggage hall. Enjoy whatever trip you decide to take. KDM

Hi, I was thinking about taking a solo holiday with Exodus, I have never done this before, nor have I even left the country before, so I was thinking about the initial flight. I understand that the holidays are experienced in groups (Which is absolutly fine, I'd prefer that over going alone) but one question I have is: do groups meet up at depature, or meet up on arrival at the destination, or does it differ per trip? I've never taken a flight before, never even been to an airport before so it'd be reassuring to know if the group gets together prior to the initial flight.
