Hi David - I've just booked! -
Hi David - I've just booked! First trip on my own :( and to East Africa but really looking foward to it! Anybody else out there with any pre-departure advise? wbw

Hi CarlosLooks like the trip -

Hi Carlos

Looks like the trip is nearly full, but few people seem to use this part of the site.

I've done trips to Namibia, Botswana, Madagascar, Kilimanjaro / Tanzania, and just returned from Sierra Leone. That 's the sum of my trips south of the Sahara. I think Africa is great, I've always booked on my own, as do many others.

DP its my first time with a tour company!!  do you know many other people are going or what the demographics are like?  i have packed a gallon of gin just to tide me over for the trip...

I read your bio it seems like you have done a fair few trips with exodus, have you been to this part of africa before?

Jambo mrfuller -

Hi

Normally the group is quite a mixture of people, young and older, singles and couples, with exodus its mostly Brits but frequently some other nationals.  generally this forum does not get a lot of use, like for this trip,  othertimes  it carries  quite a bit of traffic.

Transport can vary, from land crusers to a tour bus, sometimes both.

Yes I have done quite a few trips with exodus ( about 20 now ), total to Africa about 11, but only one to East Africa thats was Tanzania for Kilimanjaro,  ( Namibia & Botswana are not realy Africa,  too civilised ).

You may like to look at some photos of my trips at www.1sandstone.net

For now Hakuna Matata , & see you soon .
