Sean,

The time is certainly ticking away. I still have a few purchases to make. Lightweight is the name of the game I think especially if it is really hot. The downside is that I forgot that we would be flying back as the Olympics starts to get into gear, let us hope that border control is sorted!

Hi Roger,

We are a couple from Bath; Sean & Vianne. Still trying to get fit for the trip and looking forward to it immensely. Not sure we can escape border control queues. It will be awful.

I believe we have 10 on the trip so far, so that's 3 accounted for.

Sean,

Getting down to the final purchases. My daypack is rated at 36litres and I have had a preliminary pack, the stiching is beginning to strain! Could do with another three or four litres so some thinning down of kit is on the cards.

Training - Spent three days walking in Wales a week ago, missed all the bad weather except 10-15mins of rain and one hour of reduced vis. Not too bad as I did two of the Glyders with a bit of pace on and didn't ache too much the next day. Not done alot since then however!

Roger
