Trip - TYC - KILIMANJARO, SERENGETI & ZANZIBAR, Departure Date - Sunday 4th July 2010

Hi, my name is Frances and i'm travelling with my friend Natalie on this trip, just wondering if anyone else out there is. Would be nice to say hi before we go. I think this trip actually departs at 8pm on the Saturday, this true? I'm actually quite nervous, i've never done anything like this before in my life! Only a month left now!

I'm going on the same trip, I leave from Glasgow on the Saturday afternoon to join up with everyone in London. I'm quite nervous too, I'm worried that the whole trip will be full of uberfit people and I'll be trailing along at the back!

Hi Frances and Laura, I hope you enjoyed your trip. I was wondering if you'd care to pass on any tips or knowledge gained on your trip?

eg How much cash will I need, and do I need it all in shillings? Did you hire any gear (sleeping bag etc, locally or through Exodus? Any problems?
