Hi

Hi - 8th Aug 2011 - 6:27pm
Trip - MIR - CYCLE THE BACKROADS OF SRI LANKA, Departure Date - Sunday 12th February 2012
Hello, is anyone else signed up for this? Looking forward to it, having been on cycling trips to Cuba and Nepal with Exodus in the last few years. Both were fabulous holidays. I am not a fast cyclist and will find some of the hills challenging. Might even get on the train.

I am signed up for this too. Have previously done the Kerala and South Africa cycle trips. Kerala was with the same guide as this one. Really looking forward to it! I may get on the train too! Lesley

Hey guys, I'm looking at booking this trep, did Nam in 09 and Cuba 10 with Exodus, doing Thailand but with spiceroads in Dec and have some extra holiday to use before Apr. Have you guys had any heads up on the type of weather for Sri Lanka ain Feb? I dont get on too well cycling in the extreme heat! There are only four spaces left so, I'm going to book soon I think.

Hi everyone, I am booked for this trip too, I'm really looking forward to it! This will be my first cycle trip abroad, so I'm a bit apprehensive. I'm more of a runner and hiker and have done a few hikes in Nepal, and half marathons in Cuba and China, so cycling is a bit of a change. I'm up for the the challenge though. Look forward to meeting everyone, I'm sure I'll have lots of questions for people before we go.
Me too - 30th Jan 2012 - 8:18pm
I managed to get a last minute booking so flying out and back on a different flights but will join you in Columbo airport. This is 10th trip and I've enjoyed them all!

Hello everyone, I'm going with Les. I did say I think the train might be a must. 98k is a long way but "mostly uphill". Hmm, I've heard the train goes through wonderful scenery. We've done a couple of cylcing trips before but all a little esier than this one. Looking forward to meeting you all and am now getting eagerly ready for the trip. Alan
