highlights of northern india 14th april - anyone going?

I am booked on this trip and it is my first trip with exodus as well. I am excited and a little nervous.  Just wondering whether to have any jabs done before I go.

We (Becky and Amanda) are on the Highlights trip starting 14th April.  We haven't been on an Exodus trip before either.  We have had some jabs, mostly boosters.  The nurse at the GP surgery was very helpful.

It seems like quite a few of us are going to be new to Exodus trips. I'll have a chat with the nurse at my GPs and see what she recommends about jabs. Having watched some of the Caroline Quentin programme about India I think it might be a good idea to have some of them. I'm looking forward to meeting you all soon.

I'm so glad i'm not going to be the only traveller new to exodus! I've been watching the Caroline Quentin programme too, looks wonderfull. I had hepatitis A and typhoid jabs, was ok for polio, tetanus and diptheria, there were others that were recommended though. All were free which was great. My visa came through last week, was so relieved. It was such a pain trying to get 2" x 2" photos! Nearly ready for the trip, just trying to find some suitable clothes, sounds like it will be extremely hot!!

There's a quite funny post on Lonely Planet re. visas for India.  Mine was returned with my middle name misspelled.  Worrying to start, but less so once I'd searched LP.
