Is anybody else doing the Chitwan extension?  Kay and Chris

Base Camp -
I have been told that at the moment we will not be able to visit base camp. The aurorities have changed the visa requirements to limit the number of people visiting. We would need a need a trekking visa. Exodus are hoping this will change.

base camp -

assume we still get a chilly night at Rongbuk   :-)

Rongbuk -

Hope so will be really disappointed if we dont get there after all the uncertainty with the borders etc!!

rongbuk -
Yes we still get to Rongbuk just not that last bit to actual basecamp.

Rongbuk -
Looks like a little toddle at 5,000 meters to get a bit closer? A walk in the park me thinks if we can get away with it looks like we need to take some hiking boots.

Rongbuk -

departure -
after driving down to LHR on saturday, parking up, checking in, shoes off and on at security, I will be found in terminal 4 departures Costa Coffee, bespeckled, ageing, skinny git, imbibing in a major caffeine intake prior to embarkation.
