Hiking in the Canadian Rockies -
Trip - TAB - HIKING IN THE CANADIAN ROCKIES, Departure Date - Saturday 16th June 2012

Hi,

I'm thinking of going on one of the trips this year (2012).   What can I expect in terms of the weather from the three different dates ... ?   For example, I can imagine its a fair bit colder in June than September.

ThanksIan

Hi Ian, It's great to hear -

Hi Ian,

It's great to hear that you're thinking about joining TAB this year. The weather on the June and September departures will be very similar - June can be affected by late spring and September by early autumn. In both cases some hikes could be affected by snow and the weather is generally likely to be colder than the July departure. If there is snow in June you'll have a good chance of seeing a lot of wildlife as the animals will be in the valleys rather than higher in the mountains. In any case, only with really bad weather would the temperature drop much below 5 degrees at night. Daytime temperatures could vary from 15 to 25 degrees.

I hope this helps - if you'd like to speak to a member of our Sales team about this trip don't hesitate to get in touch with us.

Vicky
