Hurray! We're going to Egypt!

This will be our third trip with Exodus, but our first time in Egypt. In 2008 we went on the Delhi to Kathmandu trip, and in 2005 we went on a safari in Kenya and Tanzania.

Keith and I are from Surrey and we are going on this trip and really looking forward to it. I have been to Egypt twice before many years ago. Keith has never been. If you have not been before, you are in for a treat. It is a very exciting place. We have never been on an organised trip like this before so it will be a different experience for us. We look forward to meeting you both and everybody else joining us.

We look forward to meeting you and your mum. I am sure Egypt will live up to your mum's expectations, it is a wonderful place.

We have been advised to get some Acidophilus from the health shop and take it for a week before and during the trip to help avoid any tummy upset which is a common when travelling in Egypt. Thought I would pass on the tip in case you want to give it a try.

Hi , I will be travelling to Egypt on this trip on the 25 April 2010, I will be coming on my own am really looking forward to it, my first trip to Egypt I'm excited now its getting nearer and look forward to meeting everyone.

We from the UK must all by now be wondering if we are going to get on a flight due to the volcanic dust cloud hovering over us. Fingers crossed that the airports will re-open and our flight will go on time!

Well, I really HOPE I get to meet you all. Fingers also crossed that airspace opens up--first I have to fly Vancouver to Heathrow before getting to Cairo. I'm not sure if there are any of us who can AVOID going through Heathrow. Anybody?

 We have a direct flight from New York to Cairo.  We're flying Egypt Air and there is also a Delta Direct flight. Hopefully everything will get straightened out, but it may be worth looking to see if you could re-route your flight there.

Thanks for the advice, Jenn. We certainly were looking into re-booking a few days ago, but everything was full. So fortunately it looks like our flight is still scheduled. We're heading for the airport in a few hours so wish us luck! :)
