Great to hear from another group member, looking forward to meeting all the group in Beijing next week, at present Beijing is heavy rain showers for the next 5 days with temps at about 27 deg C, Chengdu is slightly cooler at 24 deg C and Shanghai is heavy rain and thundery showrer, temp is for the next 5 days around 28 deg C. The rainfall the book tells me,normally the rainfall drops off dramatically in September, so here's hoping.

As David says, it's great to hear from some group members. David, are the other posts for the same trip date?  I can't find them but will have another look.

Shame about the rain but what will be will be, we'll just keep our fingers crossed and pack our waterproofs in case!
