Trip - TPT - THE INCA TRAIL, Departure Date - Thursday 7th August 2014

Hello,

I'm going on the Inca Trail for the first time in August and was wondering if i needed to get any vaccines before i go, such as Malaria and yellow fever? if so how long before i go will i need them?.

We did the Inca Trail in September 2012, but also did the Amazon rainforest for which we needed anti-malaria tablets, which you start 2 days before you go. You don't need Yellow Fever, but you need to ensure your polio, diptheria, tetanus, typhoid and one the Hepatitus (but I can't remember which) are up to date. Have a great time - we did
