Trip - TPT - THE INCA TRAIL, Departure Date - Thursday 23rd May 2013

Hi Folks, Anyone out there doing the Inca trail trip from 22nd May 2013? If so you will be in the company of myself, Nigel and my wife Janice - a couple of hopefully fit enough eager amateurs. Starting to brush up on the Spanish and the hill walking!

Hello Nigel and Janice,

We are also booked on the Inca trail trip, departing 22nd May. We are Ken and Pril (April), and like you are learning Spanish and trying to do lots of walking. We will both be 65 next year, so want to make sure we are up to the demands the trip will make on us. However, our grandsons have vetoed us eating their guinea pigs.

Have you done anything in South America before? This is our first time and we are looking forward to it very much. We have chosen the Moonstone Trek option, as we think it will be less busy, then we are going to Lake Titicaca (still with Exodus) as I am a textile freak and ~Ken loves geology.

Hi Pril and Ken,

Good to hear from you. We will be doing the main Inca Trail rather than the Moonstone route, travelling out on the flight arranged through Exodus. This is our first time in South America and, like you, are looking forward to it hugely. Very envious of your add on trip to Lake Titicaca.
