Yes, l have booked on this holiday and it will be my first walking holiday.  Just got the boots! so will be breaking them in on some UK walks soon

This is my first holiday on my own so I'm slightly nervous. Training wise I have been doing a mixture of sports and weights at the gym but mostly running as that's my hobby. I was told there are 11 of us going up to now; 8 women and 3 men (me included) in case nobody knew this. I guess we are all travelling from Heathrow then? I'm excited now but still a bit apprehensive......

I brought my boots 2 months ago and have started walking.  Due to walk in Wales this bank holiday, which will be my longest time in the boots.  I am a runner but am concerned about the altitude as l have asthma.

Hi. Have booked to go on this trip too but have just broken my wrist.  Hope I can still go! Will check with Exodus.

was wondering how to spot other Exodus Inca travellers.  Will have to look out for people wearing hiking boots and the exodus travel logo on the suitcase!!   we you there.

Guess we'll be the ones looking around nervously trying to spot fellow travelers.

At 5.30am l don't think there will be many people around in T4!!!    I have never been on a holiday like this and l am now thinking of what l have forgotten and it will come to me when the plane takes off.

Is anybody taking the black exodus kitbag with them which came through the post? I'm not sure what to do with it as I have my own huge rucksack. Two days to go :)

Yeah I'm taking mine. I have a larger one which I will dump in the hotel and then I will use the Exodus kitbag for the Inca Trail itself. I'm also making sure I wear my boots at the airport so I can be spotted but also because if luggage gets lost at least I have my boots and won't have to hire any uncomfortable boots. Is anybody staying at the Hilton Hotel. I'm staying there overnight on Tuesday if anybody's around??............

And

Going to see if I can fit everything into my own bag and if not, use kitbag.  It's quite cumbersome so don't want to use it unless I have to!  Will be wearing my boots too. Arriving tomorrow night as well.

Well I have my own daysack which I will use for walking with throughout and the porters can take my exodus kitbag. It said in the trip notes that the kitbag is used for the sleeping bag and mat so I'm just going by what they have said to me.
