I am doing this trip in September with friend Sue who I did the Annapurna Circuit with two years ago. Joining us is friend, Mac, keen walker and new to Exodus. Both Mac and I are retired; Sue soldiers on.
None of us have done as much walking/climbing as we would like to have since committing to this trek, largely due to miserable weather so trying to catch up/get fitter now.
I guess it is going to be pretty hot during the day but chilly at night - advised by Exodus to take 3 or 4 season sleeping bag (can be 0 degrees at night at Toubkal Basecamp). Blacks have good deal now - their Quantum down sleeping bag is great value at £90 and is on sale for buy one get second half price - if you know someone else who wants one!
I did ring Exodus with a list of questions some time ago. Reply included taking about £20 for porter tips (my experience from previous trip is that we will need more), they have a new operator for this trip and tents and sleeping mats have been replaced. The new operator has guaranteed that there will be a back marker - complaint from previous trek that they didn't have one.
Guess that's all for now. We are all from the Midlands.
