Am a little worried about safety in the region though, Syria seems to be under a lot of fire right now and I wonder how this affects its neighbours. Have you heard anything?

Hi Peri,
I haven't heard about anything recently affecting Jordan. I think there have been some demonstrations in some Middle Eastern countries but Jordan seems to be fairly quiet.
I think we will have a fantastic time and Syria won't cause us any problems.

Hi, just saying hello from Saudi Arabia. We're booked on the trip to Petra over Spring break.
We won't be on the flight from the UK for obvious reasons so we will join the rest of the party in Amman. Very much looking forward to the holiday and exploring Jordan for the first time.
