Hello to Geishagirl54 & DiBass. Are you both travelling from England? I am from Canada and this my 1st time to Japan. I will be in Kyoto the day before the tour begins. Will either of you or anyone else on our tour be there early? I haven't yet figured out how I'm getting from Osaka Kansai airport to Kyoto. I am a little apprehensive on travelling alone when I can't read signage in Japanese. I'm sure there must be someone that speaks English at the airport that can direct me. I am quite excited about this trip and can't wait to meet you all.

Hi Alberta Rose. What a journey you're going to make! I believe there are instructions in the travel notes on how to get to Kyoto independently. Someone told me that there are signs in European script in Tokyo. I would have thought that an international airport would be the same. I'm looking forward to meeting my fellow travellers too.

I'm also on this trip - trip of a lifetime and looking forward to meeting you all. I am flying with a friend (also called Helen!) from Manchester so will meet the rest of you in Dubai on the way there.
