Sharon, Pete and Katie,

We're on the same trip with our kids Alessia (11) and Edward (9) and we cant wait to get to Bangkok! Next week we'll be shopping for trekking gear and arranging for vaccinations. Have you been advised to take anti-malarials? Some friends who took the same trip were advised they weren't necessary!?

Hi All,

Great to hear from you and look forward to meeting you. Only two weeks to go and we're getting really excited now. We're going on a shopping trip today to get any last minute gear. We've been upping the spice factor in our food recently, so our daughter should be well prepared for the Thai spices now. There's some great pics of the Erawan Waterfalls on you tube, if you want a sneak preview.
