Hi I am Mark and would like to hear from anyone booked up for this trek up Kilimanjaro. I will be doing this with my son who I spend too little time with and I am so excited by the whole thing.

Hi Mark Think we must be on the same trip which departs the UK 30th Jan 2013. I am travelling in a party of 3 friends (Gail, Maureen & Phil) and we are also extremely excited as it's suddenly getting closer. How fantastic that you are travelling with your son. Wish I could have talked my 2 sons into it. It will be an amazing trip.

I'm on this trip too. Really looking forward to it, but slightly terrified also. My mum climbed Kili exactly 50 years ago, so I'm hoping not to let the side down by making it to the top! How's the fitness training? I've no idea if I'm doing enough....

I am on this trip too. I had planned on climbing with some friends but they all dropped out, so I'll be on my own. Flying in from Germany and arriving a day early. Looking forward to it very much, a little anxious about the fitness but hey ho, too late for that now! See you there, Annie

I'm getting really excited now! I'll be on my own too, on the group flight, if I actually make it from Yorkshire to
heathrow with all this snow! At least I've had lots of practice in wintry conditions recently. Now just panicking about all the last minute packing....
