Ha ha ha, amazing, I live near Maidstone in Kent and Rose is staying in Nairobi for a while as we have some business things going on there. Never done a trecking holiday before. Would be good to meet up maybe for a walk together sometime soon. Where are you in Kent. Will be staying in Nairobi for a while just before the climb. A very small world wouldn't you say

There is a lot of us 'Kili Trekers' on this site trying to contact others in they group. I've be in touch with most of you traveling to Kili in Aug, Sep and Oct. As there are a couple of us going to North wales to climb Snowdon on Sat 14 Aug, arriving the friday night and camping out. Sunday will look at Tryfan another lovely walk/climb. Therefore I would love to get as many Kili Trekers together to do some walking and talking. Hi Alan and Rose, How bizarre is that, we are not too far from Maidstone about 40mins by car. We have never done anything on this scale before and are starting to get quite excited. Meeting up sounds good, although we are busy until the mid of September. Do you have any walking suggestions and we could meet at a landmark or the nearest pub to the walk. Look forward to hearing from you.

Hi Jim, Sorry we didn't get back to you sooner. We went up Snowdon in April and had a fantastic day on the mountain in glorious sunshine and 18C. By the time you get this blog you will have returned from your trip, i hope it was a success, i would kie to hear about tryfan as we did not take that mountain. best wishes paul and zoe
