kilimanjaro lemosho route. who else is going?

Hi Vicky I'm doing Kili the Lemosho route on 13th Jan and are too going it alone. Hope I get to chat to someone before I go, getting a bit nervous now. How much training are you doing? I've just been doing hill walking and am going up Ben Nevis in a couple of weeks.

thankyou for the reply :-) yes i have just been doing hill and mountain climbing whenever i can (most weeks), but as winter sets in will probably join a local gym as i am from the midlands and have limited hills/mountains nearby. Got most of my kit together now so i'm looking forward to it. think the things i'm gonna struggle with will be the camping (i like my bed) and the cold (brrrrrr don't do cold) ha!

Hi Vicky How's the training going? I've been up Snowdon a couple of times now and did the Crib Goch route last wkend (not recommended!) Think I'm going to hire a sleeping bag so don't have to buy a new one and travel with it in my case but otherwise think I've got everything. Getting nervous now that I haven't got enough time to train! X
