I am going and getting excited and nervous in equal measure! The highest I have been is 4500m so I am worried about the altitude but if I don't make it, it won't be for want of trying. I hope I have all the necessary kit: I have even invested in a she-wee !! I am looking forwards to meeting the others on the trip, I am sure we will have a ball......

Hi everyone - I am Jon. The Kilimanjaro Rongai route will be my first Exodus trip. I have been skiing at about 3000m but I have not done any hiking before - other than Snowdon and similar peaks. Should be an amazing trip. I am excited and nervous at the same time. Looking forward to meeting you all.

I am sure we are not the only 3 doing this trek - However with the weather as it is now - Are we going? I have done some other treks with exodus and they have proved very good! I am looking forward to meeting everyone and it should be a very rewarding trip.
