It is possible to hire the crampons (along with any other equipment) from Trek Hire UK who will leave them at your start hotel in Marrakech and they also pick them up at the end of the holiday for you. Their equipment is of a good enough standard so this would be a better option than buying them. Good sturdy walking boots should be sufficient but please check with Trek Hire UK that their crampons will fit onto your style boots (as some don't). We recommend a down jacket as it is the warmest clothing but many choose to simply put on a lot of layers and a good warm waterproof jacket on top. You just need to be prepared really for extremely cold temperatures on the summit.
