Lebanon Long Weekend

excellent - have you travelled with Exodus before? I have been on lots of tours but not with Exodus.

Hello- no never been with Exodus before- are you going by yourself? I'm based in Dubai so have arranged to meet the group at Beirut airport.

How funny is that - I'm also based in Dubai. Am flying from Abu D to Beirut so will meet the group at the hotel. How long have you been in Dubai? I arrived in the UAE Sept 08 and was in Abu Dhabi until last august.

How strange! Thought everybody would be from the UK! I've been in Dubai for about six years but have never actually gone to Lebanon! Somebodyrecommended Exodus to me when I was on another holiday. they seem to do a lot of Mid East tours- I 'm thinking about doing the Jordan long weekend one as well. I'm flying with Fly Dubai and my flight gets in 9.15pm- about an hour before the group's flight arrives so thought I may as well hang on at the airport and get  al ift with them. Where do you live in Dubai? I'm in the Springs.

I live in Marina just opp. JBR. I did the Jordan long weekend with Explore although am sure they all do the same itinerary (it's all great!). My flight arrives Fri lunchtime so will get a chance to have a walk around. My flight leave at 4.40am on the Tuesday so won't be able to spend time in Beirut afterwards. I've been to a few places in the ME since arriving (Qatar, Oman, Bahrain) - Syria is supposed to be wonderful and would like to visit Iran too. Lis

Yes I wouldn't mind doing a Syria tour and maybe Iran but not sure how easy it is to get a visa. Let me know if you fancy meeting up for a coffee before we go. My mob no is 050 8755331.

Think an Iran visa would be ok as you would have to travel there as part of an organised trip. Pre tour coffee would be good - let me know when is good for you next week ands will call later in the week to arrange. Lis

Sorry my hours are a bit anti-social (sub-editor!) I am free this Sunday evening or anytime Monday. Then my next day off is May 16 (Sun)  I don't finish work until after 9pm so it's a bit difficult to meet up in the evenings. Anyway let me know what suits you.
