Trip - AXJ - PETRA & PALMYRA, Departure Date - Saturday 10th April 2010

OK - a range of questions:

1. Will we have our main bag with us at Wadi Rum or do I need a backpack big enough for my sleeping bag?

2. What vaccinations should I get - seems like Typhoid is recommended?

3. Do I need anti-malarial stuff?

And it sounds like a great trip - roll on April!

Hi Hugh,

For the night in the desert you will need to take a smaller bag just with just your necessities (your main luggae will be locked away safely for the night). We do recommend vaccinations against Typhoid but not anti malarial tablets (I did not take these when I visited). For further information please see: http://www.nomadtravel.co.uk/pages/exodus

Thanks, Chloe. However, will I be able to have my sleeping bag separate from the daypack. Can I leave it in the vehicle for instance?
