 What shoes are you taking for canyoning?  Done some research and there does seem to be much with good ankle support, did find these but I didnt real want to spend this much....

Hi Ian, I've just got some lightweight walking boots (with ankle support). There's not a huge amount of padding in them so hopefully won't be like lead weights when they're waterlogged!

I don't think anyone goes as far as getting specific canyoning shoes since it's only for the one day anyway. I'm not sure how practical they would be elsewhere!

Yeah I've got a room booked at the Premier Inn Manor Royal through holiday extras. 80 quid with a weeks parking! Not definitely using it though, I might be able to get someone to take us so not sure yet... You got a room booked anywhere?

I like ur boots, i ended up getting a pair of hi-gear as they were on a grt offer and i wont mind if they get trashed!!!!

Yeah I probably should have done the same and got a cheap pair to chuck away if needed. Oh well!

There's 9 of us booked on the trip and we should all be sitting together on the flights (since they group buy seats) so I'll be seeing you then most likely! Hope the next 2 1/2 weeks don't go too slowly for you ;-)
