Trip - TWN - MONT BLANC HIGHLIGHTS, Departure Date - Saturday 14th August 2010

HI from Canada. My wife and I are thinking of booking a Mont Blanc trip for the summer of 2011, one of the one week deals not the 15 day trip.

We are both pretty fit. I run marathons and she is athletic. I'm 51. She is a bit younger. We've done some day hiking in the Rockies and in the Eastern US as well. So we think we are up for it. Just wondering if anyone has opinions they can share about the altitude and the long days. Are we taking on too much. We enjoy physical activity and look forward to this, if it's the right choice.

Thanks,

Mike from Ottawa

Hi Mike,I think this trip -

Hi Mike,

I think this trip will be perfect for you both. Although some of the walks do have a challenging side to them, the guide is excellent at setting the right pace. If you did feel like you needed a day off you could always stay and relax in the hot tub at the chalet but i'm sure you will be wanting to do all the walks possible. The scenery is stunning and i'm confident you will love it!

Chloe

Thanks Chloe -

Do you know when the dates for the 2011 will be released?

Dates -

Hi Mike,

The dates will be very similar to this year. We are working hard to get these online as soon as possible and most likely they will be ready to book by the mid to end of October when our brochure is released.

 Kind regards,

 Chloe
