Mountain Refuges in Poland - Snowshoeing -
Trip - CVP - SNOWSHOEING IN POLAND, Departure Date - Sunday 31st January 2010

We are staying in 2 mountain refuges.

Q1 Sleeping bag is not listed as Essential equipment. Do we not need one?

Q2 I have only stayed in mountain refuges in the summer. (never in Poland)  Do the ones in Rytro and Turbacz have heating in the winter? Do they provide a spare blanket if I get cold in bed?

Q3 Do they have hot shower?

mountain refuges -

hi Kay,

Thanks for your query. Here are the answers

Q1 You do not need a sleeping bag as bedding is provided. You may want to take a sheet sleeping bag as this is small and light and adds comfort.

Q2 The refuges do have heating in the winter but there are extra blankets available should they be needed.

Q3 Hot water is available for showers.

I hope this helps. These are all great questions and I will add this information to our trip notes so other travellers can benefit.

Have a great trip and please don't hesitate to get in contact if you need any further information.

Many thanks

Tom
