MT Toubkal 23rd Dec - Anyone else going

Dont know about you Ilona, but I have ended up with quite an extensive shopping list for this trip...

yep 2 on the forum. Exodus told me we would be 5. Guess this might change.

I haven't even looked through the recommended packing list - and this only 4 weeks before. 

I've done Kilimanjaro earlier this year, so I hope I have most of the gear? 

Anything specific you would recommend to bring?

I looked at the forecast the other day and it said temp with wind chill was -18...so I guess its preparing for potential chilliness! Bare in mind the executive sleeping lounge may indeed have a mini-bar but the room is apparently unheated.

My boots were not crampon compatible, the soles were to soft. My salopettes were to big, didnt have decent gloves nor sleeping bag or liner, nor travel pillow, nor poles. My poor postie has been delivering all sorts of parcels.

Need to look at water treatment pills, something Ive never had to do.

Right, looks very similar to Kili temperatures. For some reason I thought I wouldn't need my down jacket :-(.

Bring a metal water bottle (Sig) - you can fill it up with hot water and put it at the bottom of you sleeping bag if it is really cold. 

 Now, off to check the packing list - I'm sure I'll find something new to buy.
