Mt Toubkal - anyone else going?

Decided I needed an adventure to look forward to so finally booked this trip today. I'm coming on my own - my husband claims his knee's aren't up to it! I've already done Mount Kenya with my daughter so am hoping this will be just as amazing. Is this your first Exodus trip or have you done others?
Looking forward to meeting everyone - there were already 11 people confirmed & one more in the pipeline when I booked so almost a full group.

Hello Chris and Susan,
Great to hear from some fellow travellers - can't believe it is only 3 weeks until we go! I am travelling with my husband and it will be our first Exodus trip. We are flying out from Heathrow so will keep our eyes peeled for other exodus bags!

Hello all you old hands, I have a very basic question. I've never been on a "portered" trek before and I can't quite believe that I will only have to carry a day sack. What do you put your other belongings into? The Exodus kit bag? I'm so used to paring my kit down to the absolute minimum that I'm struggling with the idea that I don't have to!
Susan
Hi Susan,
Yes, the Exodus kit bag is to take on the trek - i guess it will be carried by the mules. Even with a sleeping bag in it it is quite roomy. When I did the Mount Kenya trek the porters carried them! What other walking have you done? Have you normally carried all your own kit? I tried it once & must admit that I prefer a porter! My excuse is that I am only small & a big backpack swamps me.

One of the nice things about these holidays is finding out about trips that other members of the group have done - a great way of planning future holidays. I look forward to hearing all about the Pyrenees (but not the carrying your own pack bit!).

Nice to hear from someone else who is coming along - not long to go now. I can't wait. Are you both flying from Heathrow on the group flight too?

Hi there. Look forward to meeting you both too. Not long to go now.
I just hope that getting to Heathrow won't be too busy for us all on Sunday. I'm coming from the South Coast & am planning on leaving really early just to make sure - look out for a woman wearing walking boots even though everyone else will be in sandals!
