Mt Toubkal Climb

Yes, me and hubby for sure.

We will be flying in with Easy Jet in the morning and staying on till 15th.

How was the Kilimajaro climb??

I also fly in the morning, Ryanair from Luton. This will be my first time in Marrakech ( a place i have wanted to visit for ages) and my first time with Exodus.

Kibo was an awesome experience thanks, looking forward to being in a mountain range this time tho.

I am so unprepared this time, need to get a shufty on. How are you and Gabor getting on? All trained up and packed?!

I fly out of the UK at 6.30am and land in Marrakech about 10.30, hopefully be at the hotel for midday on the 6th (sunday). I would have liked a bit more time before but an afternoon and extra night will have to do.

Have you traveled with Exodus before?

This will be my first time with Exodus and as a solo traveller, i am not looking forward to the flight alone (i dont fly too good)! I usually have the family with me!!!

Just started packing and awaiting the final joining instructions, how is your preparation going?

yes, flying can be pretty annoying. Let's just hope that there won't be any problems and no airports will be shut down...

It'll be my first time with Exodus as well and I'm really looking forward to the trip. So far I haven't started any preparations, I think I already have most of the equipment I need, just need to get a few vaccinations.

When does the main group arrive, do you know that? I haven't even asked about it since I'm flying in from Frankfurt and I anyway wanted to get to Marrakech one day earlier.

I'm looking forward to the trip too, i went up Kili last year which was a very special time, but i am looking forward to being in a mountain range this time.

As for vaccinations, i am still up to date because of kili but i have had a booster for one of them that lasts 15 years! the main group leave the UK (Heathrow i think) Sunday evening and they land in Marrakech about 10pm i think.

Whats your plans with the extra day in Marrakech? My early start was to have a look round the Souks and Medina before the trek. I'm not sure how much time we get when we get back and i fly out on the Sunday morning (13th).

same for I me, I fly out on Sunday afternoon as well, but that will have to do.

My plans are pretty much the same as yours,  walking around in the Medina and the souks, maybe visiting one of the gardens, I'll see.

 Do you maybe want to meet up for diner or something since the rest of the group will arrive that late?

Only a few days left, great!

Why don't we just meet in the hotel? What do you say, when shall we meet? Somewhen in the evening for diner or already in the afternoon? For me both options are good, I'll be in Marrakech the whole day anyway.

I should be at the hotel for 12 Midday on Sunday, then hope to be in d'jemaa el Fna for 1pm

So either is good for me, if you are away from the hotel and want to meet up in the marketplace (middle orange cart seller) or meet up in the hotel at say 6pm for dinner thats fine too.

Looking forwrd to the trip, all is packed now and just waiting for Sunday

I have just heard from Corina that her flight is delayed, she will not be at the hotel untill 10.30pm Sunday!

My flight looks ok and i shall too be arriving at the hotel for 11am, i will look out for you and Gabor, if we fail to meet at the hotel, i will still be at the cafe de france at 1pm, i'll be wearing a cream NY cap
