Has anyone been to Namibia or tanzania over Christmas break what was weather like, thinking of going Dec 12 two girls and 12 and 16 by then.

Hi Elizabeth,
Namibia and Tanzania have similar climates around Christmas. Tanzania has mainly good weather as the short rains are over by then (they're in November) and the proper rainy season isn't till March. Temperatures are likely to be around mid to high 20s.
Namibia is at the start of the rainy season but as this is Namibia even during the peak of the rainy season there isn't much rain. (December averages 6 days with rain in Namibia). The temperatures are likely to be higher than in Tanzania though it's less humid heat.
