New Zealand newcomers

Hi! I'm from the UK. I'm joining the trip in Aukland, staying in christchurch a few extra days, then a few days in sydney then off to singapore to visit friends for the week - see you in Auckland! Lindsay

We have booked an extra night in Auckland at the beginning of the holiday. I wonder if we will see others doing the same?

Hello,  I'm from England too.  I'm spending 3 weeks in Australia first visiting friends and then flying to Auckland afew days ahead of the trip to stay with another friend.  I've also arranged to stay on in Christchurch for a few extra days at the end before flying back home.  Look forward to meeting you in February!!  Helen

hi.  Im from england as well.  I will be arriving in auckland a couple of days before the trip starts.  I have booked to stay at the hotel the trip will start from.  Hopefully we can get together beforehand.  after the trip finishes i am going to oz and will be staying there until 22 april.  Really looking forward to the trip - in holiday mood at work already!!

Hi Karmher, We have also booked at the Auckland hotel for the Monday night. We are arriving that morning from San Francisco, where we also have a night. Newfoundland in February can be a difficult place to get out of, so we are cushioning ourselves with two extra nights! Should help with the jet lag too.

Hi everyone - wish I'd booked a few extra nights in Auckland but sadly not! I'm on the group flight so will be making my way to the hotel in the early morning of 8th Feb (probably horribly jet-lagged) and would be happy to share a taxi if anyone else is around.  Not sure how to connect in the airport but may use my Exodus luggage label as a clue.  Do approach me if you see me in a taxi queue!  Looking forward to the trip and to meeting you all. Gill

Hi Gill, I am also on the group flight. I will put my Exodus label on my rucksack. I am not sure how many others are on the group flight, but its a good idea to share a taxi. I am really looking forward to the trip! Glyn
