Peaks and Valleys of the Atlas - realistic walking times? - 15th Jul 2011 - 2:58pm
Trip - TMT - PEAKS AND VALLEYS OF THE ATLAS, Departure Date - Sunday 14th August 2011

I'm on this trip later this summer, but wanted to know whether the walking times (hours per day) tend to be average, conservative or optimistic.

 

I ask as I've injured my ankle, so training is on hold and I'm trying to understand whether I'll be on my feet for much longer than I expected.

I went on this in 2009. I remember day 7 being tough, it was 12 hours rather than 8 hours as stated, a long descent of 2000m. Otherwise it was it was pretty accurate.
