Trip - AEJ - PETRA & THE PYRAMIDS, Departure Date - Monday 19th October 2009

Hi all, Just under 3 weeks to travel date from Dublin to Amman via Istanbul. Has any of you been on this trip before or actually going on this particular date? Would a sleeping bag or liner be beneficial? Are ATM's available along the route from Amman to Cairo? If so do the ATM's accept Debit Cards (Maestro/Laser etc.) as well as Credit Cards? Bob

Hi my hubby and I are the other two making up your group. We are both reasonably fit 50 somethings looking to escape work for 2 weeks. We have opted for lightweight sleeping bags and hope. We are flying out of heathrow on Monday on the group flight see you there.

Hi Janet, I have bought a lightweight bag myself as the bags already in the house are too heavy. We won't meet at Heathrow as the 9 travelling from Dublin are flying to Amman via Istanbul (rather than Heathrow) with an ETA of 21:15 for Flight TK 1210 on 19/10 at Amman Terminal 2 . Your flight is due at 21:50. So we will meet at Amman Airport. I'm a 50+ myself. Do you have the name of the Amman hotel? Regards Bob
