Trip - AQS - DISCOVER SIERRA LEONE, Departure Date - Friday 9th November 2012

Hi all,

I'm planning to book onto the Discover Sierra Leone trip in November - but it would be great to hear from anybody who has done it in the past 12 months.

Some posts from the first trip (back in Spring 2011) suggested that it was good in places, but also had some pretty strong reservations about how well the itinerary works currently. I'm prepared for basic infrastructure and sudden changes of plan, but I would like to know that the trip is likely to be memorable for the right reasons! (Especially as Sierra Leone is quite an expensive destination.)

Any comments from recent travellers would be much appreciated! Or if anybody from Exodus is reading this and could give any assurances about how the trip has been tweaked/improved since the first time it was run?

Thanks a lot,

Chris

Hi Chris,

Its great to hear that you are hoping to travel to Sierra Leone.  As an Exodus staff member, I was lucky enough to go on this trip in October last year and I can honestly say that its one of the most exciting countries I've ever visited.  I'd be more than happy to talk to you in detail about any aspect the trip, so if you would like to give me a call on my direct line 0208 772 3762, I can answer any of your questions.

 Best wishes,

 Rachael Stone
