I have such a busy week I am already packed bar a few bits and pieces.

Where ru coming from? I am based in Chichester, South Coast - currently being battered by F9 winds! Had 15 hours with no power yesterday tee hee! No tea last night. Let's hope it more luxurious on hol...

CEQ Smowshoeing Trip report, Jan 2012 -

WOW!!! What a fab trip! The most beautiful weather - blue skies wall-to-wall and NO wind!!

Enough snow but not too much and a great leader in Vincent Lamy - fun, encouraging and a good leader. Gites were all comfortable, some with bestter facilities than others / chefs but all quite adequate and welcoming.

Verdict on snowshoes - they are great and so adaptable to different terrains, uses and still not restricting to movement / too weighty. It really feels just like walking but over snow! Quite an eye-opener.

Fabulous, hardworking holiday (ie - you get hot and sticky with the exertion but its Sooo worth it!)

Highly recommended. Thanks to everyone involved in the trip from the back office boys and girls to those on the frontline and the group itself.
