Trip - AZH - SOUTH LUANGWA WALKING SAFARI, Departure Date - Thursday 22nd September 2011

Not sure how much spending money roughly needed for this trip. Tips appear to be about £200 per person, but no mention of what drinks etc are included (if any) each day. Has anybody any idea of a typical spend on this trip.

Sorry for the delay - I only just spotted this question!

At the bushcamps all drinks (including alcohol) are included, while at Mfuwe Lodge you need to buy your drinks from the bar.

As a rough idea you will need the following cash - over and above the tipping recommendations: Domestic departure tax = US$8.00 Security tax (payable at check-in on flights) = US$3.00 Bar at Mfuwe Lodge (only 2 nights)

Could you please confirm this as this is not the answer you gave me when I rang to ask the same question. You said that we needed to allow a nightly allowance of approx $10 pp for drinks, so which is correct as I do not want to take more money than I need to?

Hi all

The drinks at the Bushcamps are included in the cost of the trip - they are not included at Mfuwe Lodge.
