Cycling Sri Lanka over Christmas/New Year - 14th Nov 2012 - 4:14pm

Hi there. Apparently there are 2 trips to Sri Lanka departing at the same time, one cycle trip and one with only one day of cycling. I'm just waking up to the fact that its only a month until we go - it has come round really quickly and I am worried that my cycling may not be up to scratch. Oh well - probably too late to do a lot about it now!

Hi Maarten & Karolyn, my wife, Cat, and I are both on the MIR trip. Look's fantastic and we're really looking forward to it. From experience there is normally a support vehicle and the cycling is not a race. This said, we're sure to burn-off some calories to have guilt-free enjoyment of the Sri Lankan food. Have either of you been to Sri Lanka before? Chris
